OBIT CAMPER, JAMES CLEMER
CAMPER, James Clemer, ("Mr. A") of Buchanan, died Monday, March 8, 1993. He
was born January 9, 1909, in Botetourt County to the late James M. and
Catherine Camper. Mr. Camper was retired from Lone Star Cement Company and
from farming. He was a long-time member of the Springwood Odd Fellows Lodge
#278. Survivors include his wife of sixty-three years, Myrtle Spencer Camper;
his daughter, Katherine C. Harris, Fincastle; three sons, J. Thomas Camper,
Buchanan, Clemmer S. Camper, Daleville, Richard N. Camper, Fincastle. Funeral
services will be conducted from the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Buchanan at 2
p.m., Thursday, March 11, 1993, with the Rev. Howard E. Cook, Jr. officiating.
Interment will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends
Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Buchanan.
