PERFORMANCE BULL SALE MARCH 27
The 14th annual performance bull sale will be held at the Southwest Bull Evaluation Center near Wytheville March 27 at noon.This year's sale will be held in the new facility built next to the test station on the Danny Umberger farm. It is four miles north of Wytheville on Interstate 81 at exit 77.
The sale will feature 153 bulls - the top two-thirds of the 230 bulls tested this year. That includes 80 Angus, 33 Simmental, 22 Charolais, seven Polled Hereford, four Gelbvieh, four Salers and four Limousin.
Performance records and EPDs for the bulls will be available to assist buyers.
Catalogs will be available beginning Monday. They can be ordered from the sale manager, Virginia Sale Services, 3204 W. Main St., Assist, Va. 22980.
