OBIT HARRIS, HARLES EDGAR

HARRIS, Harles Edgar, 79, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993 in Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was formerly of Floyd and was a retired construction superintendent. He is survived by two sons, Roger Harris, Christiansburg, Philip Harris, Chantilly; two daughters, Katherine Zehner, Augusta, Ga., Brenda Higgs, Christiansburg; one brother, Arby Harris, Willis; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Mayberry Funeral Home, Floyd.
