RATCLIFFE, Betty Jean, 58, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993 in Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Garland J. Ratcliffe; daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda F. Miller, Teresa R. and Dennis Bailey, Susan R. and Randy Turpin, all of Christiansburg, Sharon L. and Wayne Keith, Dublin, Donna J. and Tommy Prescott, Floyd; sons and daughters-in-law, Garry J. and Doris Ratcliffe, Thomas D. and Sandra Ratcliffe, Raymond M. Ratcliffe, David A. and Connie Ratcliffe, all of Christiansburg, Roger A. Shanklin, Pilot; brother and sisters-in-law, Allen and Edna Lawson, Priscilla Lawson, Ruth Lawson, all of Christiansburg; special friends, Erlene, Mary, Ann, Shirley and Lisa; 22 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday from the Friendship Baptist Church, Radford, conducted by Rev. Preston Naff, Rev. Chester Linkous and Rev. Jim Davis with burial in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Thursday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
