OBIT SWECKER, KATHRYN M.

SWECKER, Kathryn M., 64, of Christiansburg, died Tuesday, March 9, 1993 in Radford Community Hospital. She is survived by four sons, Lt. Mitchell Thomas Swecker, San Diego, Calif., Christopher Eugene Swecker, Coral Springs, Fla., Steven Lee Swecker, Barboursville, W.Va., Timothy Taylor Swecker, Christiansburg; one sister, Dorothy MacCordy, Baldwin, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Kristin, Lauren, Julie, Matthew, Alexander, and Andrew. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church conducted by Father Robert Goldsmith. Memorials may be made to Lee's Friends, 618 Stockley Gardens, Norfolk, VA 23507 or New River Valley Hospice, 1806 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060. The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Timothy, 155 Ash Drive, Christiansburg anytime after 3 p.m. Friday, March 12. Arrangements are being handled by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
