OBIT-JENNINGS, MATILDA SHELTON

JENNINGS, Matilda Shelton, 79, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 11, 1993. Mrs. Jennings was a member of First Christian Church and taught for many years in the Roanoke City School System. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest H. Jennings. Surviving are a nephew, Dr. R. K. Hubbard Jr., Cumberland. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with the Rev. Jim Rivers officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
