OBIT-SPENCER, CHARLES EDWARD SR.

SPENCER, Charles Edward Sr., 66, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 10, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Spencer; four daughters, Brenda Spradlin, Roanoke, Geneva Dunbar, Roanoke, Dawn Hall, Bedford Co., Virginia Moses, Roanoke; three sons, Charles Spencer Jr., Vinton, David Spencer and Carl Spencer, both of Roanoke; three brothers, Carson Spencer, Florida, Wilson Spencer, Franklin Co., Joe Spencer, Hardy; two sisters, Addie Stamper, Buena Vista, Bessie Atkins, Washington, D.C.; fourteen grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 13, 1993 at 2 p.m. at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel with Dr. H. R. Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Jeters Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Friday.
