OBIT-VAUGHT, PEARL H.

VAUGHT, PEARL H. 82, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 10, 1993. Mrs. Vaught was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Dudley Vaught Sr.; and her son, Elmer Dudley Vaught Jr. Mrs. Vaught was a member of Belmont Presbyterian Church and was well known in Roanoke as a lingerie buyer for Smartwear Irving Saks, Hornes, and Samuel Spigel. Surviving are granddaughter, Lori Vaught Edwards, Roanoke; great-granddaughter, Savannah Vaught Edwards; daughter-in-law, Linda Vaught Cunningham, Roanoke; brother-in-law, Roscoe Fleshman, Roanoke; aunt, Ollie Holland, Salem; a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials be made to Belmont Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Friday at Oakey's North Chapel by the Rev. Elliott Hipp. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
