OBIT-IRAGGI, FRED JOSEPH JR.
IRAGGI, Fred Joseph Jr., 68, of Moneta, died Wednesday, March 10, 1993 in
Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was born November 22, 1924 in Huntington, N.Y. the son
of the late Fred J. and Louise Mascaro Iraggi and was retired from the Town of
Huntington. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army during
the battle of Normandy and was a past Commander of V.F.W. Post 1469 Huntington
Station where he held a life membership, and a member of the Smith Mountain
Lions Club. Surviving is his wife, Patricia Anne Golden Iraggi of the home;
one daughter and son-in-law, Eugenia Louise (Genie) and Donald Amos of Moneta;
one son and daughter-in-law, Fred J. and Patty Iraggi, III of Boones Mill; one
sister, Eleanor Novack of Northport, N.Y.; one brother, Edwin Iraggi of Pa.;
two grandchildren, Joseph Daniel Amos and Christopher Thomas Amos. Funeral
services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday from the Lynch Funeral Home Chapel by
the Rev. Stanley Wright with interment to follow in Franklin Memorial Park.
Visitation will begin Saturday after 2 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home where the
family will receive friends from 7 til 9 p.m.
