EAST, Lillie Maude Hall, 101, of Blacksburg, died Thursday, March 11, 1993 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was the widow of Samuel T. East and is survived by a daughter, Claudine Henderson, Christiansburg; four sons, Reuben East, Blacksburg, Russell Reese, Elliston, Howard Reese, Winfield, Ala., Roscoe Reese, Greenville, Tenn.; four stepdaughters, Gladys Hedrick Alva, Florida, Effie Conner, Stephens City, Va., Zelma Reed, Strausburg, Dorothy Buellis, Dearfield Beach, Fla.; two stepsons, Fred East, Longshop, Caleb East, Moureytown, Va.; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday from the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Sam C. McPhail and Rev. George Jarels with burial in the East Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Saturday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
