OBIT COLLIER, VADA S.

COLLIER, Vada S., 71, of Vinton, died Saturday, March 13, 1993, leaving this earth to be with God after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Collier was retired from Brown's Restaurant in Vinton and the Greyhound Bus cafeteria. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Edgar "Ed" Collier, Vinton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph E. and Connie Collier of Sacramento, Calif., Neal H. and Wanda Collier of Bedford, Terry J. Collier; one sister, Delsa S. Jude, Spokane, Wash.; three brothers, Leland, Grady and Stuart Salmons, all of Ohio; six grandchildren, Kelly, Jerry, Christina, Brian, Sean and Jason Collier; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Helen Foutz and family. Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 1993, at Lotz Vinton Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vinton Rescue Squad.
