OBIT-ALTIERI, CAROLINA DAMIANI

ALTIERI, Carolina Damiani, 92, of Roanoke, died Friday, March 12, 1993, at her home. She was the widow of Henry Altieri Sr., and a member of the Catholic Daughters. She was born in 1900 in Civitella del Toronto, Italy. Surviving are a son, Clarence Lee Altieri Sr., Roanoke; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary D. and William A. McCarthy, Roanoke; eight grandchildren, Clarence Lee Altieri Jr. of Brentwood, Tenn., Debbie Lynn Fox of Condon, Ore., Michael Altieri of Roanoke, George Dieber of Forest, Va., and Candace Foley, Teresa Altieri, Freddie Altieri, Jerry Altieri, all of Roanoke; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rosa Altieri, Roanoke. There will be a vigil service at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral mass will be at St. Andrews Catholic Church 11:15 a.m. Wednesday with interemnt in the St. Andrews Diocesan Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
