OBIT-FINK, MASON LEE

FINK, Mason Lee, 80, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 13, 1993, in the VA Medical Center, Salem. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran; and is survived by his wife, Thelma M. Fink; one daughter, Debbie Newell, Smith Mountain Lake; one son, Thomas Fink, Logan, W.Va.; two grandsons, Brian Wallace, John Cameron Newell; four sisters and two brothers. Graveside services will be held in Evergreen Burial Park 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Walter L. Wood officiating. The family suggests flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Salvation Army or Roanoke Rescue Mission if desired. The family will receive friends at Oakey's North Chapel after noon on Monday.
