OBIT HINES, DORIS HALL

HINES, Doris Hall, 83, of Louisville, Ky., died Sunday, March 14, 1993. She graduated from the Johnston-Willis Hospital School of Nursing, was a former nursing instructor at the Medical College of Virginia, and a former supervisor at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond. She is survived by one daughter, Maria Hines Schweri of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Lucille Vaughan of Dublin, Va.; three grandchildren. Mrs. Hines had a son who predeceased her, Jerry L. Hines of the Virginia State Police, was killed in the line of duty in 1989. Visitation will be at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Road, Richmond, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
