At Raleigh, N.C., North Carolina-Greensboro scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and went on to defeat VMI 6-4 on Tuesday in college baseball. Ryan Glenn was 2-for-5 with two RBI for VMI (7-7). Louie Napoleon and Brian Adams each had one RBI on 2-of-4 hitting.
Virginia Tech's games at James Madison on Tuesday and at Western Carolina today have been canceled because of snow.
