WASTE-MANAGEMENT TELECONFERENCE PLANNED AT COMMUNITY COLLEGES

A waste management teleconference will be held at 10 a.m. at New River and Wytheville community colleges March 29.

William L. Woodfin Jr., the director of the state Department of Waste Management, will present his staff and lead discussions on new developments in waste management.

Presentations will include reviews of new federal requirements and the impact of legislation enacted by the 1993 General Assembly.
