SALEM CHARITY EVENT IS MOVED INDOORS
Today's walk-and-run relay to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation and benefiting children with life-threatening illnesses has been moved to the Salem Civic Center because of the storm.
The event, still beginning at 9 a.m., was to have started at the Shell Food Mart on U.S. 460 in Salem. The relay is sponsored by Virginia Credit Union League.
