OBIT YOUNGBLOOD, NORRIS JULIAN

YOUNGBLOOD, Norris Julian, 75, of Fries, died Sunday, March 14, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Beulah C. Youngblood; three daughters, Rebecca Sue Youngblood, Patricia Hyatt and Kay Williams, all of Galax; two sons, Gary George Youngblood, Appomattox, Va. and James Norris Youngblood, Lynchburg; two brothers, Virgil Youngblood, Fries, Dewey Youngblood, Evington, Va.; one sister, Louise Perry, Greensboro, N.C.; four granddaughters, Julia Y. Waldo, Jody Lynn Youngblood, Emily Kay Hyatt, Elizabeth Pierce Hyatt; one great-grandson, Robert Andrew Waldo. Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Millard Johnson and the Rev. Larry Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fries Volunteer Fire Department and the Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax is in charge of arrangements.
