OBIT MCINTOSH, HELEN C.

McINTOSH, Helen C. 72, of 4135 Silver Palm Dr., Vero Beach, Fla., died March 16, 1993 at Indian River Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. She was born September 12, 1920 in Odell, Ill. and had been a resident of Vero Beach for two years moving there from Roanoke. Mrs. McIntosh was a teacher at Crystal Spring Elementary School for 16 years. She was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of the Roanoke Country Club. Surviving are her husband, John McIntosh; two sons, John D. McIntosh, Roanoke, Robert B. McIntosh, Atlantic, Ga.; one daughter, Anne M. Lutz, St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials be made to the Heart Association of Indian River County, P.O. Box 1181, Vero Beach, Fla. 32960 or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 1001 East Las Olas Blvd, Suite 202, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. 33301. Services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Oakey's Roanoke.
