OBIT CONNER, ELVIN WALTER SR.

CONNER, Elvin Walter Sr., 69, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, March 16, 1993. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from S. J. Conner Plumbing & Heating. Surviving are his wife, Reda Alderman Conner; sons and daughter-in-law, Elvin and Susan Conner, Vinton, Carl Randal Conner and special friend, Lois Johnson, Hardy; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Donald Tuten, Judy Morgado, Jeanette and William Blair, all of Roanoke; a brother, Albert Conner, Christiansburg; a sister, Audrey Bolling, Roanoke; five grandchildren, Angie Nance and her husband, Tony, Randy Conner, Karen Tuten, Jeremy Blair, Krista Conner; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Amber Nance. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel Friday, March 19, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. L. E. Humrich officiating. Interment in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
