OBIT BLACKMAN, DAVID JAMES JR.

BLACKMAN, David James Jr. ("Jamie"), age 15, of Buena Vista, died Monday, March 15, 1993 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born in Rockbridge County on June 19, 1977, the son of David James Blackman of Florida and Debra Clark Roudabush of Buena Vista. He was a student at Rockbridge County High School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Lucinda Blackman, Buena Vista; stepfather, Larry E. Roudabush, Buena Vista; grandparents, Melvin and Lucy Clark Sr., Buena Vista; stepgrandparents, Mr. & Mrs. J. Kemper Roudabush, Churchville; a stepsister and brother-in-law, Amy R. and Scott Cash, Staunton; two stepbrothers, Jeffrey Roudabush and Dwayne Roudabush, both of Greenville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Lomax Funeral Chapel with the Rev. J. Blankenship and the Rev. Wayne Comer officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lomax Funeral Home.
