OBIT FLETCHER, JAMES W.

FLETCHER, James W., 57, of the Little River Section in Honaker, passed away Wednesday morning, March 17, 1993, in a Richlands hospital. Born at Honaker, he was a son of Mrs. Edna Taylor Fletcher of Vinton and the late Hatcher Fletcher. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nancy Salling Fletcher of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Allison Fletcher Steele, Lebanon, Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Harris of Coral Gables, Fla., Mrs. Nancy Miller of Goodview; and one brother, Howard Fletcher of Goodview. Memorial services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday in the Honaker Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlin Shupe officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the Honaker Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; The First United Methodist Church of Honaker, Honaker, Va., 24260; or the Caring House, 2625 Pickett Road, Durham, N.C.
