OBIT MCKEMY, ETHEL MARGARET

McKEMY, Ethel Margaret, 90, of Clifton Forge, died Tuesday, March 16, 1993, in the Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor, Va. She was born in Lexington, Va. on April 3, 1902, a daughter of the late Adam William and Elizabeth Estaline Smith McKemy. She was a member of the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church, Lexington, a graduate of the George Washington University, Washington D.C., and worked for the U.S. Government, having retired from the Department of Defense. Surviving her are a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 19, 1993, 11 a.m. at the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church, Lexington, with Dr. William O. Moore Jr. officiating with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
