OBIT-RICHIE, LEONARD BALLARD SR.

RICHIE, Leonard Ballard Sr., 86, of Roanoke, died Wednesday, March 17, 1993. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and David Dean, Troutville; sons and daughter-in-law, Leonard B. Jr. and Emma Richie, Hollins, A. Joseph Richie and Robert Alvin Richie, both of Roanoke; sisters, Carrie Minnis, Goode, Clara Henry, Natural Bridge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bernard and Alberta Richie, Bedford, Knowlton and Alpha Richie, Big Island; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 1993 in the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Hines officiating. Interment will follow in First Baptist Church, Cloverdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rader Funeral Home, Troutville.
