OBIT-PHILLIPS, MARVIN GLENN

PHILLIPS, Marvin Glenn, 57, of Indian Valley, passed away Thursday, March 18, 1993 at the VA Medical Center in Salem. Survivors include his wife, Frances Cox Phillips, Willis; one daughter, Pamela Grose, Chicago, Ill.; one stepson, Kenneth Cox, Willis; mother, Delilah Phillips, Indian Valley; granddaughter, Amanda Grose, Chicago, Ill.; four nieces, Debra McAlexander, Floyd, Donna Phillips, Sharon Phillips, both of Radford, Connie Phillips, Hiwassee; three stepgrandsons. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd with Elder Sidney Rakes officiating. Burial will be in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
