OBIT WIMMER, MELVA ROBERTSON

WIMMER, Melva Robertson, 65, of Roanoke, died Friday, March 19, 1993. She was retired from Merita and Kroger Bakery after 40 years of service and was a member of the local 171, Chauffers and Teamsters Union. She is survived by her brother, Roosevelt M. (Rock) Robertson, Vinton; sisters, Elsie R. Brooks, Roanoke, and Ada R. Bernard, Franklin Co.; niece, Jeanette Lowe; nephews, Kevin W. Robertson, and Keith E. Robertson, all of Roanoke; special friend, Ruby and Lewis Goad and family. Funeral services will be held noon Monday, at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Jeff Gardner with burial in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
