OBIT JOHNSON, OSCAR CECIL

JOHNSON, Oscar Cecil, 96, of Route 5, Bedford, died Sunday, March 21, 1993 in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bedford County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Bedford County on April 17, 1896, a son of the late Henry A. Johnson and Dora Worley Johnson. He is survived by several nieces, nephews; and devoted caretakers, Bobby and Juanita Mitchen. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 1993 at the Virginia Memorial Park with the Rev. Jack Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
