ROANOKE BOXER UNBEATEN

Roanoke native Steve Pannell remained undefeated by scoring a technical knockout in the third round over Blair Muhammed in a light heavyweight boxing match in Florence, S.C. Pannell is 12-0 with 11 knockouts. Muhammed, of Atlanta, is 5-4. Pannell has an ESPN fight against Ernest Mateen (14-0) of Brooklyn, N.Y., scheduled for April 8 at 9 p.m.
