OBIT THORNE, WILLIAM MACE

THORNE, William Mace, 95, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday March 21, 1993 at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, Elma Hadden Thorne. Surviving are two sons, Harley J. Thorne, Roanoke, Paul H. Thorne, Carson City, Nev.; sisters-in-law, Mrs. May Fesko, Lutz, Fla., Mrs. Harriet Thorne, Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Charlene Janosko, Roanoke Co., Jay Thorne, Vinton, Forrest Thorne, Carson City, Nev.; one great-granddaughter, Diana Thorne. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 1993 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Robert G. Moore III will officiate. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Lotz Vinton Chapel.
