OBIT MARTIN, SAMUEL ROSCOE

MARTIN, Samuel Roscoe, 72, of Dulaney Trailer Park, Dublin, died Saturday evening, March 20, 1993, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Born in Giles County on September 15, 1920, he was a son of the late Luther and Maggie Riggs Martin. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Dale Martin. Surviving are two daughters, Lula Brillhart, Newport, and Shirley Breeding, Pearisburg; two brothers, William Martin, Bluff City, Junior Martin of Pearisburg; four sisters, Reba Carter and Gertrude Terry, both of Pearisburg, Mary Martin and Bessie Snider, both of Pembroke; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Kendall Funeral Home Chapel, Pembroke with burial in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.
