VALLEY TEAMS ADVANCE IN ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
The Roanoke Region Odyssey of the Mind competition was held Saturday at William Byrd Middle and High schools.Teams tackled various kinds of problems in each category, ranging from designing and building a vehicle powered by mechanical jacks, the "Pit Stop" test, to creating a performance based on the Ernest Hemingway novel "The Old Man and the Sea."
First-place teams will advance to the state finals in Winchester on April 24. State winners will attend the world finals at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md., June 3-5.

This problem was to present and create a story about dinosaurs.
