TEEN PLEADS GUILTY, GETS LIFE SENTENCE

A teen-ager whose former girlfriend avoided a potential death sentence by pleading guilty to the slayings of her father and sister reached a similar plea deal Monday in the slayings.

Dominic J. Hendrix Jr., 18, pleaded guilty to capital murder, first-degree murder, attempted murder and robbery in the June 7 stabbing deaths of Jerome Kszepka, 42, and 21-year-old Ranae Kszepka, and an attack that left Kszepka's wife, Sieglinde, with a concussion.

Under terms of the plea agreement, Hendrix was sentenced by Circuit Judge John M. Folkes to life imprisonment plus 90 years. He will become eligible for parole in about 25 years.
