OBIT FROST, STUART C.
FROST, Stuart C., ("Jack"), 88, of Bristol, died Sunday, March 21, 1993 at
his home. His residence was 110 Simcox Dr. in Bristol. He was formerly of
Bedford, Va., and had lived in Bristol for the past four years. He was a
member of the Morgan Baptist Church in Moneta, Va., and the Liberty Masonic
Lodge #95, AF & FM in Bedford, Va., where he was a 32nd degree Mason and was a
Shriner. He was a member of the Pittsburgh Commandery #1 Knights Templar and
the See Bee Veterans Association of World War II. He is survived by two
daughters, Bell Simcox Tillison, Bristol, and Elizabeth Wright, Roanoke; one
brother, William ("Bill") Frost, Wytheville; seven grandchildren, Hope Brown,
Faith Bowers, Allen Simcox, Linda Dudley, Tony Tillison, John Bunch, and Russ
Tillison; 11 great-grandchildren and one niece. Funeral services will be
conducted 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Blevins Funeral Home Chapel, Bristol, with the
Rev. Lester MacKinnon officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6
to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will be taken to Moneta, where a
funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Morgan Baptist Church
with Rev. Timmy Speight and Rev. Charles Hoffler officiating. Burial will
follow in Morgans Cemetery, Moneta. Pallbearers will be Bobby Blankenship, M.
J. Cox Jr., George Morgan, Richard Saunders, James Updike and F. G. Wright.
Blevins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
