OBIT HOUSMAN, LILLIE FERGUSON

HOUSMAN, Lillie Ferguson, 88, of 500 Hatcher St., Rocky Mount, died Monday evening, March 22, 1993. Mrs. Housman was the widow of Roy F. Housman. Surviving are one daughter, Frances H. Dillon, Rocky Mount; one son, William T. Housman, Rocky Mount; three grandchildren, Georgia D. Burnley, Todd Housman and Wendell Housman; two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Leigh-Emma Burnley; five sisters, Lizzie Ferguson, Gladys Perdue and Lena Smith, all of Rocky Mount, Helen Dillon, Wirtz, and Mazel Montanaro of Philadelphia, Pa. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Flora Funeral Chapel with Elder Clarence Stone and Dr. Joe Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church, C/O Joyce Bowling, Knollwood Dr., Rocky Mount or to the Franklin County Rescue Squad. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service, 342 S. Main St., and other times at the residence of Lena and Euber Smith.
