OBIT HOUSTON, ANNIE MABLE

HOUSTON, Annie Mable, 97, of Roanoke, passed away March 23, 1993, in a local hospital. Survivors include two sons, James Roosevelt Houston, Roanoke, Ellis Lee Houston, Washington, D.C.; nine grandchildren, Davey A. Houston, Cleveland, Ohio, Judith Ann Houston, Lanham, Md., Ellis E. Houston, Landover, Md., Mildred B. Houston, Washington, D.C., Darlene Linen, New York City, N.Y., Curtis Stephen Linen, Dallas, Texas, Barbara A. Conyers, Capitol Heights, Md., Davina J. Houston, Perry Ausbon, both of Washington, D.C.; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m. Holiness Tabernacle Church of God in Christ, Bishop Samuel Green officiating with burial in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
