VALLEY SPELLING BEE TO BE HELD APRIL 30

Literacy Volunteers of America and the New River Valley has teamed with the Montgomery County Rotary Club to sponsor a New River Valley spelling bee.

Teams of three will compete in the event to be held April 30 at Custom Catering from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Any business or group can sponsor a team or provide a cash donation to support the Literacy Volunteers. Teams must be registered by Wednesday.

Entrance fee is $200 per team and includes lunch and prizes. For information or to register a team, call Linda Garrow at 552-2111, extension 368.
