OBIT-ALLEN, JOYCE DICKERSON

ALLEN, Joyce Dickerson, 62, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, March 23, 1993. She was the widow of John R. Allen and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, A. Dean and Lynne M. Allen; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda A. and Fred C. Simmons; her brothers, Mack and Paul Dickerson; grandchildren, Brandi, Zachary, Ashley and Samanatha; loving friends, Sonny and Juanita Hundley; several nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sherwood Memorial Park by Rev. Tom Cribb and Rev. C. V. Woodie. The family will receive friends Thursday at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel.
