OBIT-KING, GORDON CLINTON SR.

KING, Gordon Clinton Sr., 83, of Newbern, died Wednesday, March 24, 1993, in Pulaski Community Hospital. Born April 11, 1909, in Pulaski County, Va., he was the son of the late William C. King and Mary Elizabeth King. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Agee King; five sons, G. C. King Jr. and Richard S. King Sr. of Hot Springs, Daniel King of Newbern, Rev. Jonathan King of Marion, David King of Pulaski; two daughters, Mrs. George ("Nancy") Kniesche of Richmond, Mrs. Dennis ("Sharon") Quesenberry of Pilot; one sister, Daisy Saville of Roanoke; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Dublin Church of God, with the Rev. Michael Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Newbern Cemetery. Visiting will be Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home.
