TO ALL THE right-wing conservatives out there and to Robert E. Warren, in particular (March 10 commentary, "No taxation with misrepresentation"):

I'm surprised that a president who tells lies upsets you. I thought you'd be used to it by now. We've had it for the past 12 years, or don't you remember Reagan's "No hostage deals" and Bush's "I was out of the loop." It's too bad that "truth" is solely dependent on who's telling the story.
