The council has committees dealing with planning its monthly meetings, recommending educational programs for area schools and colleges, establishing a speakers bureau, mentorship program and other communications links and creating a clearing house of resources dealing with quality.
The council is open to firms with quality programs or interest in beginning them. Membership in the chamber of commerce is not required for joining the quality council. Membership dues are $150 for firms with as many as 99 employees, $300 for outfits with 100 to 499 workers and $500 for companies with 500 or more employees.
