STARKEY-HAWTHORNE

Mr. and Mrs. Duward Starkey of Roanoke are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erika Nicole, to Robert Edward Hawthorne, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hawthorne of Lunenburg, Va. Nicole is a graduate of Northside High School and Radford University with a degree in accounting. She is employed by Allstate Insurance.

Robert is a graduate of Kenston Forest in Blackstone, Virginia and the University of Virginia with a degree in Economics. He will graduate in May from the University of Virginia School of Law.

The wedding will take place August 21, 1993 in Roanoke.
