CALVERT-BUSH
Debra Lynn Bush and Charles W.Calvert, Jr. (Billy) were married March 6,
1993 in White Rock Baptist Church, Hardy by Rev. Gary Fowler in a western
style wedding. The reception was held at the church. The matron of honor was
Rose Williamson, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Michele Ferguson,
friend, Cindy Teague, Misty Gordon and Susan Greer, cousins of the bride. The
flowergirl was Stephanie Teague. The best man was David Calvert, brother of
the groom. The ushers were Terry Williamson, Ronnie Booth, Gary Waldron and
Jerry Bowles, friends. Ringbearer was John William Calvert. The bride wore a
white gown and boots. The ladies wore a ruffled blouse with western skirts and
boots. The men wore jeans, boots and white shirts, western tie and jackets.
The bride and groom left the church in a horse pulled cart.
The bride is a daughter of Clayton and Judith Bush of Hardy. She is a
graduate of Franklin County High School and is employed by ITT. The
bridegroom, son of Charles W. Calvert, Sr. of Vinton, attended Staunton River
High School and is employed by Davis H. Elliott. The newlyweds will live in
Hardy.
