MCROY-DUNCAN

Deanna Rae Duncan and AlecChristopher McRoy were united in marriage on March 20, 1993, at the Patrick Henry Hotel in Roanoke, Va. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Keith Wagner.

The bride is the daughter of Alva and Glenda Duncan and the granddaughter of Lala Hull, of Radford, Va., and Edgar Duncan of Floyd, Va.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. F.B. "Buster" McRoy, Jr., of Vinton, Va.

The bride was escorted down the isle by her father. The maid of honor was Lori Stewart, of Richmond, Va. The matron of honor was Mimi Ridpath, of Forest, Va. Both are friends of the bride. The best man was Mark McRoy, brother of the groom. A dinner reception was held at the Patrick Henry Hotel.

The bride is a 1986 graduate of Radford High School and received her degree from Radford University. She is currently employed with Booth Communications in Blacksburg, Va.

The groom is a 1986 graduate of William Byrd High School and received his bachelors degree in computer science from The University of Virginia. He is currently employed with Norfolk & Southern Corp. in Roanoke, Va.

After a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple will make their home in Salem, Va.
