OBIT CARTER, SAMUEL REECE

CARTER, Samuel Reece, 84, of Roanoke, died Saturday, March 27, 1993. Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynch Carter and is survived by four sons, Woodrow Wilson Lee Carter and Edith, William Howard Carter and June, Louis Dallas Carter and Frances, James Junior Carter, all of Roanoke; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel noon Monday, March 29, 1993 with the Rev. Gene Stafford officiating. Interment in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Lotz Roanoke Chapel Sunday, noon to 9 p.m.
