OBIT MARKHAM, CLONNIE W.

MARKHAM, Clonnie W., 88, of Roanoke, died Thursday, March 25, 1993, in a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie Kate Bryant Markham. He was a member of Belmont Baptist Church and a former employee of the American Viscose Corporation. Surviving are two daughters and son-in-law, Nadine M. and Bobby J. Hogan, Vinton, Mary H. Byrd, Roanoke; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Maggie M. Bryant, Eagle Rock. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 10 a.m. Monday, March 29, with the Rev. Chris Rakestraw and the Rev. John W. Fox officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
