OBIT HOLT, LAWRENCE ELSWORTH

HOLT, Lawrence Elsworth, 68, of Route 1, Thaxton, died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at his residence. He was born in Bedford County on September 5, 1924, a son of the late William Holt and Violet Creasey Holt. He was a member of Oakmulgee Baptist Church and was a longtime custodian at Bedford Elementary School, having been employed by the Bedford County School Board for over 41 years. He is survived by two nephews, George Holt and James Holt, and a niece, Delores Delquist, all of Bedford. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and are being handled by the Carder-Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
