OBIT TOLBERT, GOLDIE DAVIDSON

TOLBERT, Goldie Davidson, of Pulaski, died Saturday, March 27, 1993, at her home. She was born in Carroll County on July 31, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Robert H. Davidson and Pearle Ayers Davidson. Surviving are her husband, Charles William Tolbert, Pulaski; one son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Carol Tolbert, Pulaski; one daughter, Barbara Tolbert Powers, Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Easter, Austinville, Ms. Magdaline Dexter, Pulaski; two brothers, Robert Davidson, Pulaski, Arlin Davidson, Pulaski; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Bethune officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visiting will be Monday at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Presbyterian Church, P. O. Box 824, Pulaski, Va. 24301, or to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Inc. Pulaski.
