OBIT THORNHILL, BRIAN HAMILTON
THORNHILL, Brian Hamilton, 20, of Salem, died Thursday, March 25, 1993,
after a short illness. He was a graduate of Salem High School, and was a
student at Roanoke College. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church;
and is survived by his parents, Joanne and Glenn O. Thornhill Jr. of Salem,
and Betts and Donald R. Jackson of Middletown, Del.; two sisters, Christine
and Kelly; three brothers, G. O., Wyatt and David; and his grandparents, Glenn
O. Thornhill Sr. of Roanoke, Mr. and Mrs. Richard L. Saunders of Atlanta, Ga.,
and Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bailey of Salem. Funeral services will be held at St.
Paul's Episcopal Church in Salem on Tuesday, March 30, at 11 a.m. Interment
will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday
from 7 until 9 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home, Salem. Memorials
may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 733 Third Ave., New York, NY
10017; or to the Salem Rescue Squad.
