The story by Barnes Boffey and Paul Pilcher is a fantasy about how the power of love brings a young boy's favorite stuffed toy to life. The play will feature 27 children playing bunnies and toys, and other professional actors.
Several showings will run Thursdays-Sundays for $6 adults and $3 children under 12. The final show will be signed in American Sign Language for the hearing impaired.

Sculptor to speak
Roanoke sculptor Linda Atkinson will discuss her work Thursday morning at 10 at the Art Museum of Western Virginia's lecture hall, 20 E. Church Ave., downtown Roanoke.
Atkinson is director of the Olin Hall galleries at Roanoke College, managing editor of Artemis and a member of the Roanoke Arts Commission.
Her presentation is part of the museum's informal "Meet the Artist" lecture series. Other artists scheduled to participate are Vera Dickerson, Robert Sulkin, Victor Huggins, Joni Pienkowski, Ed Bordett and Harriett Stokes.
