DIABETIC SUPPORT GROUP MEETING IS TUESDAY

A support group for diabetics and their families being formed at Johnston Memorial Hospital will hold its first meeting at 7 p.m. tonight in the hospital's conference center.

It will have educational programs on diabetes and its treatment, emphasizing control of diabetes through medication and diet. There also will be monthly guest speakers.

The first meeting, on understanding food labels, will be presented by Sheila Willis, a dietitian at the hospital.
